    80% is set aside for donations. That ETH is bridged to Ethereum mainnet.

    ETH is donated through Wikimedia Foundation’s Every.org crypto page.

    Support Wikipedia

    Every.org converts the crypto to cash and grants the proceeds to Wikimedia Foundation.

Does Wikimedia receive the ETH?

Every.org receives the crypto donation, converts it to cash, and grants the realized proceeds to Wikimedia Foundation. Wikimedia does not receive the token or bridged ETH directly. How Every.org works ↗

Can I donate without buying the coin?

Yes. You can use Wikimedia Foundation’s Every.org donation page. A token purchase is not itself a donation, and holding the coin does not automatically make one.
